PLANT SALE

The Mariemont Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the patio of the Mariemont Strand. Come choose from a nice selection of ‘pass along plants’ from Garden Club members’ own gardens, plus a selection of beautiful baskets, annuals and bedding plants. Also featured will be a variety of outdoor garden creations for sale, as well as gift certificates to the Olde Garden Shack in Terrace Park . . . great Mother’s Day presents! This fundraiser helps the Garden Club to maintain many of the Village’s community flower beds and to make contributions such as the one made in 2007 when the Garden Club was able to contribute $1000 toward the purchase of Beech trees for the Beech Grove on Wooster Pike. For more information, contact Mary Alice Maze at 271-6216.

SWIMMING POOL SIGN-UPS

Sign-Ups for the 2008 Swim Season are scheduled for:

Saturday - May 10th - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Mariemont Strand

Saturday - May 17th - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Dale Park Jr. High School

Thursday - May 22 - 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Dale Park Jr. High School

Cost of a Family Membership for 2008 is $225 if purchased by May 22nd

After that date, the cost will be $250

Families with children should contact the Mayor at 271-3246 or 561-2619 for a private meeting if the full cost of the membership cannot be paid prior to the opening of the pool on Memorial Day weekend. 

VILLAGE WIDE GARAGE SALE

The Second Annual Village-Wide Garage Sale

will be held on

Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Signs will be posted by the Village in the Wooster Pike median and

an ad will be placed by the Village in the Enquirer.
