Timothy D. Messer
Lieutenant
Tim graduated from the Scarlet Oaks Police Academy in 1988. He began his law enforcement career in 1988 as a patrolman with the Elmwood Place Police Department, and was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in 1991.
Tim joined the Mariemont PD as a patrolman in 1994. He was promoted to lieutenant on May 27, 2005. He graduated from First-Line Supervision School in June of 2005. He is assigned to day shift where is assumes both administrative duties as well as road patrol. Tim received the Chief Chris Roebish Police Officer of the Year Award in 2004.
Tim is married to wife, Vickie. He has one daughter, Ashlee, who they enjoy spending time with. Other hobbies include woodworking, traveling and fishing.
